Electric Spacecraft Journal

General Description of Periodical:

Electric Spacecraft, Inc. (ESI) was created in 1990 by Charles A. Yost (1933-2005) as a network of interactive researchers seeking electrodynamic propulsion techniques for space travel.

Through this network, garage tinkerers, armchair philosophers, and university physicists shared objective data and well-reasoned hypotheses offering new insights into the nature of electrostatics, electromagnetics, atomic physics, gravity and inertia, and energy.

From 1990-2010, ESI published the Electric Spacecraft Journal as a forum where networkers could question assumptions and test the limits of institutionalized science. The last issue (#48) was mailed to subscribers December 24, 2010. No subsequent issues were produced.

In 2004, Mr. Yost began offering his invention, The Electro Flyer, for sale as an educational science toy/tool for teaching electrostatics in the classroom. It is, regretfully, no longer in production.

In October 2012, ESI was deemed no longer viable by its shareholder, the Charles A. Yost Research Center Trust. Procedures to dissolve the company commenced in January 2013. Although ESI is no longer staffed and able to fill subscriptions or other orders, certain titles and the Electro Flyer may be located through the following links:
