1a. If I change the name of a wiki page after I have made links from that page to other internal or external pages, will those links be effected in any way?
No. The outgoing links fron the page whose name has been changed will not be affected.
1b. If I change the name of a wiki page where links have been made to that page from other internal or external pages, will those incoming links be effected in any way? Yes!! Any incoming links that people have made to a given tikiwiki page will no longer work for the person who has made those links, if the name of the page they are linking to is changed in any way, even by one letter.
The reason is that changing the name changes the URL, and so the old incoming link to the old URL can no longer get to the new URL. So the policy will be to change page names as infrequently as possible. Do a "links to" test to see if anyone has linked to that page. But in case the "linkto" operator does not find all of the incoming links, you might better just make the new page, and Copy and paste everything from the old page to the new, and then create a link on the old page to the new one.
If you change the new URL back to the exact old URL, the original incoming link will start working again.
