Bus: Baltimore City bus and Light Rail Planner: http://mta.maryland.gov/  ; For Seniors: One Way: $.55;All day pass: $1.20, and covers bus, Light Rail, and Subway; Customer Service: 410-539-5000 or 866-743-3682, M-F 6am-7pm; closed Sat and Sun; Surprisingly, the Light Rail does not stop at Penn Station, but several blocks away, over by Howard Street, and then you'd have to walk to the Train station with your 3 bags; So the Light Rail option is out, and you have to take a local bus; Bus #11 Runs every half hour on Charles and then St. Ppaul to Penn Station all day long; But you'd have to catch the #33 bus from Roland Avenue to Charles;

The southbound Baltimore Bus #61 goes right down St. Paul and stops at the train station, which is also near where the Bolt Bus pick-up is also at, just one block over. Going south on Roland, before it goes down University to St. Paul, it stops just on the north side of Cold Spring at 5:46am, 632, 706, 736, 806, 836, 921AM. Then there is a hiatus for a few hours and it starts up again: 256pm, 320, 323, 403, 433, 503, 530, 603, 626, 651, 821pm (the final bus). The website to verify this schedule is: http://mta.maryland.gov/schedules/display.php?route=61_weekday_southbound.xls

The Northbound bus stops on Charles at the west side of Penn Station on weekdays only: 512am, 553, 630, 650, 722, 733, 755, 827am, then in the afternoon: 219pm, 319, 349, 420, 453, 523, 549, 618, 648, 753pm;

Train:

Amtrak: 800-872-7245; Website: http://www.amtrak.com/home  ; Both Baltimore Penn Station and Union Station in WDC have Wifi for people waiting for trains; You can actually go "by Amtrak" from Baltimore to Mackinaw City, but it takes "forever", since the layover in Michigan, plus the trip itself is at least 11 hours to get from Detroit, K-zoo or Battle Creek to Mackinaw City. The train/Bus  will take you to Detroit, Battle Creek, and K-zoo, and then you get a bus from there that goes all the way to Salte St. Marie, with stops in Pellston (Stops at the BP Station) and Mackinaw City, where it stops at the Village Hall; But it takes so long, and the charge is at least $85.00. You can rent a car and drive in about 4-5 hours at about the same cost; So just go to Dearborn and rent the car.

VIA Rail (Canada): http://www.viarail.ca/  ; Phone: 888 842-7245; It is just $18.00 RT from Windsor to Chatham;
